8th Annual 10K/5K & Mascot Mile

The 8th Annual American Family Fitness 5K/10K Walk/Run to benefit Children’s Hospital Foundation is scheduled for Saturday, October 09, 2010.

Starting and finishing at Children’s Hospital’s main location at 2924 Brook Rd. in Richmond, the courses wind through scenic and historic neighborhoods in Richmond’s northside. For children ages 5-10, the event will also feature the Kids Mascot Mile, which takes place on and around hospital grounds. Other race day activities include a health fair, children’s festival, stroller decorating contest and post race breakfast.

Start times will be 8:30 a.m. for the Mascot Mile, 9:00 a.m. for the 10k, and 9:15 a.m. for the 5k.
